Terms and Conditions

1. A 50 % deposit of is payable at the time of booking and is accepted as part of payment of the fare.
2. The balance of the fare is payable not later than eight weeks before departure. Non-payment of the balance will be treated as cancellation of the booking and the deposit will be forfeit.
3. If the client cancels the booking more than eight weeks before departure the client will be refunded all monies paid other than the deposit which we will be entitled to retain.
4. If the client cancels the booking less than eight weeks before departure we shall be entitled to retain all monies paid. Clients are therefore advised to insure themselves accordingly.
5. If the client wishes to transfer a booking to another date this can be done at a cost of £50, although cancellation penalties apply as to the first booking date made.
6. The expedition fare covers the cost only of supplying, fuelling, maintaining and servicing the expedition vehicle and provision of general camping equipment (tents and cooking equipment).
7. Hotel charges, restaurant meals and entrance fees to Gameparks are not included. The local payment is in addition to, and forms part of the expedition fare, for the purpose of providing food, camping fees and entrances to certain Gameparks.
8. The client undertakes to comply with the laws and regulations, whether in respect of health, immigration, exchange control or any other matter of all the countries visited during the expedition.
9. The client undertakes to obtain a valid passport and visas appropriate for the countries to be visited during the expedition.
10. The organisers reserve the right to deviate from the advertised expedition route if in their reasonable opinion such deviation is necessary for the safety or well being of any or anyone of the members of the expedition or for the satisfactory progress of the expedition.
11. The client accepts that the expedition will be an undertaking of an unpredictable and potentially hazardous nature. The client acknowledges that the expedition vehicle does not have the benefit of passenger insurance and agrees to indemnify the organisers against any claim or demand made against them or any of them by the Client, his personal representatives or dependants in respect of any accident, disease, personal injury or loss of life caused to or contracted or suffered by the Client during the course of the expedition whether caused by the negligence of any party thereon or not.
12. Owing to the potentially hazardous nature of the expedition the organisers shall not be liable for any damage suffered by or caused to the personal property of the Client during the course of the expedition howsoever caused whether by negligence on the part of the organisers or its authorised representative or not.
13. The information given in the brochure and other literature supplied is given in good faith but no warranty is given that it is correct.
14. The organisers reserve the right to cancel the expedition before departure without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases all payments will be refunded in full.
15. In the event of any person leaving the expedition of their own accord, or, in extenuating circumstances being asked to leave by the organisers or their representative, that person will become liable for their own maintenance and expenses and have no claim against the organisers.
16. In the event of a complaint, please take it up with you your tour leader or with the office within 14 days of the completion of your tour.
17. Persons booking on an expedition are deemed to understand and agree to the above conditions. Please be aware that once you are booked your deposit and balance is non refundable, insure yourself accordingly.
