This is a safari to Kenya's greatest concentration of game - the Masai Mara which is a continuous ecosystem with the Serengeti in Tanzania. The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest migration in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning back south again in October. On our way there, we pass through Kenya's rift valley escarpment which offers some breath taking views.

Day 1 – Nairobi to Mara
Departing our office in the morning we drive towards the escarpment (stopping to enjoy views of the rift valley) and down the floor of the Great Rift Valley via Narok town (the Masai district town).
Lunch en route followed by afternoon game drive.
We camp at our semi-permanent Talek riverside campsite situated at the edge of the park (next to Talek gate). Here we pitch up tents on the camp grounds or use the small wood cabins if not already occupied. Hot showers and toilets are available in the camp and meals are served in the dinning area.
Day 2 – Mara
Early morning and late afternoon game drives returning to the campsite for lunch. Option to visit Masai village or local school.
Alternatively spend the entire day on a game drive (with packed lunches) returning to the campsite in the early evening hours. (Recommended during July/ August during the annual wildebeest migration).
Day 3 – Mara to Nairobi
Depart Camp and drive through the reserve viewing game as we proceed to the main Narok road where we stop to give you a chance to buy souvenirs, or just to have a cup of tea. We return to Nairobi by late afternoon..
